Foreword

C'allie hails from a faraway Seeker tribe, still hidden from modern societies-- although some members of the Coeurl have started to dot the shores of Limsa Lominsa, none of them have even the briefiest memory nor familiarity with the suspiciously vulpine-looking feline. Following naming conventions, no history could be found of her sire, either.. If he even exists at all.She is an accomplished and respected member of the Arcanist's guild, entrusted with her own Scholar's jobstone. Her position has afforded her a reputable spot with the Monster Research and Reconnaissance Party (MRRP) of the Lominsan Navy, responsible for venturing, cataloguing and capturing various breeds and species of monsters, wildlife and voidsent alike.In spite of her perilous duties, C'allie always appears to come out of her quarries and expeditions unscathed. If she ever does incur injuries, her fairy would be quick to embrace and mend any otherwise mortal gash-- a phenomenon her fleet finds quite auspicious.

Preface

"Your wisdom shall only grow in time, my sweet child. Let the years not dull your sharp curiosity."

Deep between Yanxian woods, a shadow bolts between branch and brush. It hides under foliage, hoping to calm its breath before retribution comes. Memories of a great evil addle its mind, snout forced into a low snarl--

A fire, expulsion, and then a culling. All inevitable, yet gruesome to witness even as mere visions.

Its stomach had come engorged, ferrying its offspring through the forest. She searches for safety before haphazardly digging through another's den: long abandoned, and ripe for its new residents. Her pointed snout sniffs into soft dirt, digging with abandon, kicking up dry grass and loose clumps. Her sunset-stained fur turns a muck brown, caking her in mud and grime.

Death. Destruction. Anger. Fire. The village's ill-sentiments welled in her heart.

"Promise me.. promise you will not sour the gift you have been given."

About the Roleplayer

Mrrao! C'allie's RP'er here :3 I've been writing for about 10+ years now, with 5+ of those spent in Eorzea! I've only ever done roleplay, with some tabletop experience as player and DM. So.. yeah. I've been here a while ^^C'allie is my newest character-- my experimental baby at NA, if you will. She exists among the three other main OC's I play around with. Here's my lizzer, my cat, and my bunny, respectively. If you'd like to get to know them more, please don't be shy to ask!Please expect me to play as if it's my first time; I consider it a fresh breath to act like a sprout-- in the NA server, at least. I'll do my best to act the part, but of course I can't completely filter out the meta knowledge that comes with playing this far along.

How and why I write

Writing to me has always been like art. In the same way a painter paints, and an artist sings, writing is the ability to turn words into paintings-- the way we can recall experiences, or conjure imaginary memories with just letters. It's magic, all of it. And I hope I never get tired of reading and writing our little masterpieces together. :)Given these, I will push your character's limits as C'allie-- that will be a given. BUT I also don't want to push a player's boundaries.If you'd like to discuss hard limits for your character, please tell me and we'll figure out/ rewrite the scene. Please don't feel pressured to finish a scene in spite of your comfort. My DM's/Tells/OOC are always available to have these discussions.I'd rather go as far as allowed, than tread on uncertain territory. And in the same way, I expect the same treatment when it comes to my boundaries. I consider writing as collaboration, a dance between two writers, a back and forth. So let's maintain that kind of respect for each other, please?

Now that it's settled, let's go deeper into how I like to write~
-I typically write 2~3 paragraphs, in a span of 10~15 minutes. Usually in 3rd person, but I will adjust depending on your style ♥
-Can do quick, casual scenes that go straight to the point,
-or immersive scenes that span from 2~6 hours, depending on the level of detail we come up with.
And if we run out of time, or it needs an extension, then please feel free!
-For best results, I'd also like to discuss the direction we'd like to take the scene/s towards. I wouldn't want to push a scene in one direction, only for it to be a literary dead end.
-But, if that's the point-- to write with abandon and to be on our toes, then count me in as well!

What I Like to Write

I'd typically like to write whatever suits the moment. Honestly, it's partially whatever my partner for the moment would want! But if I were to dictate the flow of an rp, I like writing detailed pieces (if appropriate!) I like painting a good picture for my partner and audience, so expect me to take my time adding in colors, scents and tastes (if appropriate) to my replies ♥I'm also pretty partial to some lore to pad a reply, and being as immersive with writing. Though it's not a requirement, I enjoy writing how characters would naturally fit into the world, rather than a character who's made the world fit around them.
I'm also partial to surprises, if done correctly. (This is a double-edged sword)

What I would like To write (wishlist)

I love writing, but some pieces have been sitting at the back of my head, just waiting for the right person/ OC to experience it with~-Monster-hunting/ surveying, As a member of the MRRP, C'allie is naturally inclined to want to study, and re-study whatever beast may come her way. Her curiosity with creatures
-A well-planned expedition, wherever it may be. Her curiosity isn't just limited to creatures! Have any place you'd want to explore? Some ruins or ancient discovery to conjure? Heirlooms? Treasure?? Please! We'd love to know about them! ♥
(bonus, if it ties to manipulating aether!)
-Any story that will explain/ enhance a person's backstory, or future-- so really, any story that would tell more about our characters!

Boundaries

And finally, here are my hard limits.
Much as I'd love to accommodate any and all kinds of stories earnestly offered, I'll draw the line at:- Mindless attempts at murder/ murder hobo behaviour. I'm all for a good violent release, but please don't mistake catharsis for mass murder ;;
- Forcing my hard no's. I make it a point to give my "list" at every encounter, and also ask for my partner's list-- specifically because I don't want to step on a landmine.
- Changing the theme of the RP. I can only enjoy surprises up to a certain point, and like to keep myself in the proper headspace/ atmosphere to play a certain way. This mostly applies to NSFW settings. Please talk to me in OOC before doing anything outside of what we've agreed on.Boundaries include:- Please don't try to find my IRL details. Don't be a creeper.
This carrd is the most interesting part about me, I promise you
- I'm not actively looking for a relationship beyond friendship. If you intend for anything more, I'm sorry.
- Though I'm all for quick scenes and discovering each other, I'm also very picky with the people I choose as long-term partners.
The standards and details of my RP differs greatly with long-term partners, and I expect the same effort to come from these potential partners.
